Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions within cross-functional teams. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has focused on hardware development for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previous roles include firmware engineering at SMART Technologies, electronics contracting for the Science Alberta Foundation, and teaching assistance at the University of Calgary. Earlier experience includes work as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, specializing in control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
