Osmin Castillo

Osmin Castillo is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience as a Big Data Engineer Consultant at the Presidencia de la Republica de El Salvador since May 2015. Previously served as IT Director at the National Energy Council, where responsibilities included the management of information policies and development of a National Energy Indicators System. Osmin initiated the deployment of energy indicators, implemented spatial data infrastructure, and supported various government systems. Having worked as a VAS Engineer at Digicel, Project Manager at AES, Software Architect, and Business Analyst at TACA, as well as a Software Development Consultant at Millicom International Cellular, Osmin has honed expertise in software development, project management, and business intelligence. Osmin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidad Centroamericana 'José Simeón Cañas' and a Project Management degree from ADEN Business School.
