Shaw Sprague is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government relations and historic preservation policy. Currently serving as Vice President for Government Relations at the National Trust for Historic Preservation since June 2012, Shaw focuses on federal historic preservation policy and tax issues while building relationships with Congress and the Executive Branch. Prior roles include Senior Legislative Representative at The Trust for Public Land, where responsibilities involved lobbying for land conservation initiatives, and Legislative Assistant for Senator Susan Collins, providing policy advice on Natural Resource, Trade, and Judiciary matters. Shaw holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder.
