Missy Silver

Missy Silver is an experienced educational therapist with a diverse background in supporting students with learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, and executive function disorders. Currently serving at Presidio Knolls School since May 2020 and previously at Yearning4Learning Educational Therapy since February 2015, Missy focuses on individualized interventions for K-8 students. Additionally, Missy has developed their own tutoring service, emphasizing a multisensory approach to enhance reading, writing, and math skills. Prior roles include educational therapist at The Laurel School and inclusion specialist at Marin Primary and Middle School, where adaptive strategies and curriculum modifications were employed. Missy began their career as a school and home aide, providing essential support for students with developmental disabilities. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Special Education from San Francisco State University and Board Certification in Educational Therapy from the University of California, Riverside.
