Presidio Knolls School
Yan Li is an experienced educator with a focus on language instruction. Currently serving as a Mandarin Teacher at Presidio Knolls School since August 2012, Yan Li teaches kindergarten students math, science, and unit inquiry in Chinese, while supporting their social development. Prior roles include Lab Consultant at Teachers College, Columbia University, and Teaching Assistant in the East Asian Department, both contributing to teaching language skills to third-grade students. Earlier experience includes teaching ESL to non-native speakers through the Community English Program at Teachers College. Yan Li holds a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Teachers College, Columbia University.
