Andy Voelkel

Principal Systems Engineer at Presidio Medical, Inc.

Andy Voelkel has extensive work experience in the field of engineering, particularly in embedded systems and DSP (Digital Signal Processing). Andy currently holds the position of Principal Systems Engineer at Presidio Medical, Inc. which they started in May 2020.

Prior to this, they worked at SetPoint Medical from October 2012 to January 2019 as a Systems and Engineering Consultant. From 2004 to 2006, Andy worked as an Engineering Consultant at Alfred Mann Foundation, where they performed system analysis, produced missing documentation, and mentored software department members.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Symbolics as a Design Engineer, focusing on gate array design and compiler development for RISC-based LISP machines. Andy also worked as a Design Engineer at Computer Audio Research Lab, where they designed DSP cards and pitch detection systems.
