Tim Wess

Tim Wess has extensive work experience in software and firmware development. Tim currently works at Presidio Medical, Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Sonova Group as a Manager, Embedded Software Development from 2017 to 2023. Before joining Sonova Group, Tim held the position of Software/Firmware Engineer II at Zebra Technologies from 2013 to 2017. Tim also worked at Cyber-Rain as a Software and Firmware Developer and Support Engineer, where they developed irrigation control apps for Android and contributed to iOS client apps. Additionally, they created wireless protocol sniffer software and gained skills in Windows Communication Foundation, C#, and Objective C. Furthermore, Tim worked as a Project Engineer at Contemporary Devices Company, Inc., leading the development of an Exhaled Breath Portable Mass Spectrometer. In this role, they designed PCB circuits and performed electronic hardware testing. Tim also created software programs for spectrum data analysis.

Tim Wess attended California Polytechnic University from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
