Cathy L.

Cathy L. has a wealth of experience in finance and executive leadership roles. Cathy is currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the Presidio Trust since May 2022. In addition, they work as a self-employed Chief Financial Officer - Consultant, providing consulting services to Goal Five: The Sports Brand for Her, a female sports brand undergoing Series A funding.

Prior to their current roles, Cathy held various CFO positions at Recology, a $1B+ employee-owned environmental services organization. During their time there from 2018 to 2021, they were responsible for developing and implementing long-term business plans, overseeing finance, information technology, environmental compliance, and business services departments. Cathy successfully managed a 25% reduction in debt, guided the organization to reach its annual profit plan in 2020 despite the challenges of the COVID pandemic, and reimagined the information technology strategy by transitioning to a cloud-based ERP system.

Before Recology, Cathy served as the VP of Finance at Stitch Fix from 2017 to 2018 and at SEPHORA from 2014 to 2016. Cathy also spent a significant portion of their career at Levi Strauss & Co., where they held various leadership roles including CFO of the Global Retail Division, Director of Finance, Sales and Operations Planning Manager, Financial Performance Consultant, and Planning and Forecasting Analyst.

Cathy L. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics and Music Performance at Oberlin College. Cathy later pursued an MBA at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
