Dan Lohrmann

Dan Lohrmann is an accomplished cybersecurity leader with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Currently serving as the Field Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Public Sector at Presidio, Dan guides government clients in meeting cybersecurity standards. As a co-author of "Cyber Mayday and the Day After," Dan shares insights from global leaders in crisis management. Previously, Dan held significant roles in the State of Michigan, including the first Chief Security Officer (CSO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), overseeing IT infrastructure and cybersecurity for the state. Dan's career began at the National Security Agency, and included positions at ManTech and Lockheed Martin, consistently recognized for strategic leadership and innovative solutions in technology and security. Dan holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree from Valparaiso University.
