K Kannan

Kannan Krishnamoorthy is a legal professional with extensive experience in judicial and administrative roles. As the Founder Director of Madhyastham since July 2019, Kannan leads initiatives in alternative dispute resolution. Previously, Kannan served as Chairman of the Indian Railways Claims Tribunal from July 2016 to June 2019 and was a judge at both the Punjab and Haryana High Court and the Madras High Court from July 2008 to June 2016. Kannan's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree from Loyola College, Madras, and a law degree from Ambedkar Law College, Pondicherry, focusing on economics.
