John Stegman

Vice President, Client Partnerships at Press Ganey

John Stegman has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. John started their career as a Database Management Consultant at the Illinois Department of Public Health in 1996, where they managed the State of Illinois' HIV/AIDS database registry and conducted studies to monitor and estimate the incidence and prevalence of HIV/AIDS cases.

John then worked as a Research Consultant at Furst Group from 1997 to 2000, where they managed the in-house market research department and collaborated with the executive sales team to develop successful sales strategies.

In 1999, John joined Rockford Health System as the Manager of Comparative Data Systems, where they managed clinical quality benchmarking and patient satisfaction programs. John also worked closely with the executive team and physician leaders to enhance quality and care delivery.

John joined Truven Health Analytics in 2002 as a Client Service Director, serving as the primary client-facing contact for hospitals and health systems utilizing the company's clinical benchmarking solution. John assisted hospital executives and physicians with quality improvement benchmarking, data interpretation, and presentations. John later became a Marketing Solutions Manager from 2005 to 2008.

At Truven Health Analytics, an IBM Company, John held the position of Strategic Relationship Manager from 2009 to 2013, where they were responsible for driving value, renewing, and expanding business in national health system accounts. John worked closely with executive-level contacts to maximize their value in the relationship and designed unique solutions to address their strategic needs. John then became a National Accounts Executive from 2013 to 2016, working closely with executives in a book of business comprising eight of the largest health systems in the United States. Their responsibilities included achieving new/cross sale quotas, account retention, and setting account strategy.

In 2017, John joined IBM Watson Health as an Enterprise Sales Director, focusing on value-based care offerings. These offerings aimed to help providers and healthcare organizations manage population health, deliver efficient care, engage patients and consumers, and optimize business performance through data-driven insights.

Currently, John is Vice President at Press Ganey. John started in November 2022 and is responsible for client partnerships. Prior to this role, they served as Vice President, Sales Strategy and Insights from 2021 to 2022. John also held the position of Managing Director from 2018 to 2020 and Regional Director from 2017 to 2018.

Overall, John's work experience demonstrates their expertise in healthcare analytics, client management, and sales strategy, making him a valuable asset in the field.

John Stegman obtained their BA in Psychology from Northern Illinois University in the period from 1990 to 2004. Furthermore, they pursued a degree in Public Health (MPH) from the same institution between 1994 and 1996.
