Rutger van Bergen

Rutger van Bergen has a long and varied work experience. Rutger began their career as a Software Engineer at Q&R in 1999. In 2005, they joined DataBalk as Manager of Product Development and Development Team Lead, and then became Chief Architect in 2007. In 2010, they moved to Cegeka Nederland as Manager Solution Preparation and Innovation Manager. In 2012, they were Manager Development at NACHON. In 2014, they became Technology Delivery Manager at Company Webcast BV. In 2015, they joined IceMobile as Chief Technology Officer, Technology Director, and Solution Architect. In 2019, they became CTO at BuyBay, and in 2022 they will become Chief Technology Officer at Presspage. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for the development and delivery of software products, managing the technical leads within companies, and managing technical partnerships.

Rutger van Bergen received their Secondary school diploma from Oosterlicht College between 1989 and 1995. Rutger then went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Networking from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) between 1995 and 1999. In 2003, they received a CISSP from ISC2 in Information System Security.
