Nikolay Malyarov

Nikolay Malyarov is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the media and publishing industry. Currently serving as CEO, International & Chief Content Officer at PressReader since 2003, Nikolay provides leadership and strategic direction for the company's operations across EMEA, Asia, and Oceania. As Editor-in-Chief for "The Insider," Nikolay addresses the challenges faced by mainstream publishers in transitioning to digital platforms. Previous roles include EVP, Chief Content Officer, and General Counsel, where Nikolay led initiatives that expanded international partnerships and advanced innovative distribution and content monetization strategies. Additionally, Nikolay holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC and is a member of the Management Board of FIPP, the network for global media.
