Lorie (Thomas) Morris has a wealth of experience in healthcare management and oversight. Lorie served as the SVP of Quality and Innovation at Prestige Healthcare Management. At Prestige Healthcare, they were responsible for development, compliance, quality improvement, and care coordination. Before that, Lorie was the Director of Education and RAI at Exceptional Living Centers, overseeing education programming and processes related to Medicare and Medicaid. Prior to that, they worked at Trilogy Health Services, LLC as the Division Clinical and Assessment Support and as the Director of Health Services and Executive Director. Additionally, Lorie was the Director of Development at Covenant Health Services, responsible for setting up and developing hospice entities. Lorie also held the role of Director of Nursing Services at Lifecare Centers of America and worked as a Case Manager at Odyssey Healthcare.

Lorie (Thomas) Morris began their formal education by earning an AA (Associate of Arts) degree in Liberal Arts from Saint Leo University, which they completed between the years 1990 and 1992. Lorie then went on to pursue a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) degree from Armstrong State University from 1992 to 1995.

Lorie furthered their nursing education by obtaining a MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) degree in Nursing Education from Western Governors University, which they completed in 2012.

In addition to their educational degrees, Lorie also holds several certifications. Lorie became a Registered Nurse through the Indiana State Board of Nursing in August 1995. Lorie has also obtained the following certifications: Certified Wound Specialist from the American Board of Wound Management in April 2011, RAC-CT (Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified) from the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators in January 2012, a Certified Nurse Executive from AANAC (American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators) in March 2015, and a Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from the Six Sigma Management Institute by Dr. Mikel J. Harry in March 2022.
