Kendall Nelson

Kendall Nelson is a Senior Project Specialist at Prestige Scientific. Kendall previously worked as a Rehab Tech at Functional Pathways from August 2020 to January 2021. In this role, they were responsible for Intake patient referrals for Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy, managing scheduling for outpatient and inpatient therapy, and outgoing calls for appointment reminders, incoming calls for patient updates. Kendall also managed and maintained updated information on patient profiles by processing paperwork for PT/OT/ST, assisted therapists with treatments and transfers, and ensured the therapy gym was kept up to standards.

Prior to their role at Functional Pathways, Kendall was a student worker at the University of North Carolina Wilmington from January 2017 to September 2019. In this role, they produced a variety of spreadsheets, documents, flyers and posters for professor’s needs, directed students and staff, answered phone calls, and performed copy and printing services as needed. Kendall also developed marketing and informational banners, posters, and flyers to display in academic hallways around campus.

In September 2018, Kendall began working as a Front Desk Coordinator at Colour Bar Hair Salon. Kendall held this position until August 2020 when they transitioned to their current role at Prestige Scientific. During their time at Colour Bar Hair Salon, Kendall was responsible for managing the front desk, handling customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, and processing payments.

From January 2016 to April 2017, Kendall worked as a membership services associate at Harrison Family YMCA. In this role, they were responsible for signing up new members, giving tours of the facility, handling customer inquiries, and processing payments.

Kendall Nelson attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington and earned a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science.

Kendall Nelson reports to Devon Asselin, Head of Research & Project Management. They are on a team with and Olivia Corey - Project Specialist.
