Courtney Presto is the founder and CEO of Presto Social Media, a company aimed at bridging the gap between content creators, advertisers, and social media users. The platform focuses on community and attention rather than ego-posting and vanity metrics. Prior to starting their own company, Courtney worked at true[X], where they held several roles in research operations. Courtney managed key initiatives, analyzed data to answer business questions, and provided valuable insights to inform business strategy. Courtney also played a key role in upgrading the reporting system and creating python packages for complex analysis. Courtney began their career as a researcher at the University of Southern California, where they gained experience in Java, SQL, and working with large datasets. Courtney also served as an administrative assistant during their time at the university. Before that, they worked as a teacher at Sigma Coding.
Courtney Presto attended the University of Southern California from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a double major. They earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Cinematography and Film/Video Production.
