Cheryl Johnson

Cheryl Johnson has been actively involved with Guide Dogs since 2014, serving as a Public Speaker and as a Volunteer Fundraiser and Management Committee member for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Additionally, Cheryl has experience in fundraising coordination for the Preston and Leyland branch of Guide Dogs. Cheryl is currently enhancing counselling skills at Preston College, having qualified at Level 3 and pursuing a Level 4 Diploma as a BACP member. Past roles include serving as a School Governor at Kingsfold Primary School and as a Volunteer Fundraiser with Galloways Society for the Blind. Cheryl also coordinated Neighbourhood Watch efforts from 2003 to 2007, demonstrating strong community engagement and organizational skills. Educational qualifications include NVQ Level 3 and Level 2 certifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools from Preston College.
