Chris Matthews

Chris Matthews has extensive work experience in the technology field. Chris has held various roles at KFC UK & Ireland, including Head of Data, Analytics, Infrastructure and Security, Head of Data and Analytics, and Business Intelligence and Corporate Technology Manager. In these positions, they have led teams, developed data strategies, implemented machine learning plans, and established technology solutions during crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to their time at KFC, Matthews worked at Megabyte Systems as a Senior IT Service Engineer and an IT Analyst. Overall, they have a strong background in technology and data management.

Chris Matthews has a education history that includes a Master of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from Solent University, which was obtained from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, Chris earned a Higher National Diploma (HND) and a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Computer Science from Solent University from 1998 to 1999 and 1996 to 1998, respectively. Before attending Solent University, Chris completed a BTEC National in Computer Science and a BTEC Diploma in Computer Science from Southampton ITeC in 1994.
