Francesca Soma

Francesca Soma has extensive experience in operations management, currently serving as the Director Of Operations (Asia) at Pret A Manger since October 2012, after progressing through various leadership roles within the company. In this position, Francesca leads a complex and high-volume area of nine shops, focusing on team development and the implementation of effective operational practices. Prior roles at Pret A Manger include Group Manager, where strategic plans for sales and profit growth were developed, and General Manager, achieving top-tier business results. Francesca's earlier experience includes a General Manager position at Azzurri Group, where significant improvements in health and safety scores and customer service standards were realized. Francesca holds a BA in Human Resources and Marketing Management from London Metropolitan University and an HND in Business and Marketing Management from the University of North London.
