Data Scientist at Preteckt

Mengge Chen has work experience as a Data Scientist at Preteckt since 2021. Before that, Mengge worked as a Research Specialist (EIT) at WatXtract.ai from October 2018 to June 2019. Prior to that, Mengge was a Master Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo, where they conducted quantitative research, performed accuracy assessments and error analysis, and authored papers about neural network applications and estimating particle concentrations during wildfires. Mengge also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo from September 2015 to June 2017. Additionally, Mengge had a research intern role at the Sichuan Bureau of Surveying, Mapping, and Geoformation in July and August 2017.

Mengge Chen pursued a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a focus on Honours Remote Sensing Science and Technology from Wuhan University from 2013 to 2015. Following that, from 2015 to 2017, they attended the University of Waterloo and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies with Honors in Geomatics. During the same period, Mengge Chen also completed a Minor in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master's degree in Science with a major in Geography from the University of Waterloo.
