Yu Ushio is the CEO and Founder of Pretia Technologies, Inc. since September 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales representative at Sendyou Inc. from February 2015 to May 2015. Yu also has experience as a university student at The University of Tokyo from April 2011 to March 2016.
Yu Ushio attended The University of Tokyo from 2011 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with a focus on Political Science and Government. During their time at university, they also studied at Peking University for one year (2014-2015) and briefly attended Osaka University in 2010-2011.

Pretia Technologies, Inc.
Pretia is an early-stage AR startup based in Tokyo, which closed a series A round of funding last year. We’re mostly known for our AR Puzzle Game “Sarah and the Hacker Club” series, but our ultimate goal is to create an AR Development Platform. To achieve this, on top of creating the AR experiences we’re also developing the back-end technology called AR Cloud, which allows users to interact with digital content tied to a specific location in 3D.
