Carol Geukens

Carol Geukens has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2015, they started as an Assistant Trainer at Verto, Puurse turnkringen, where they stayed until 2017. In 2017, they briefly worked as a Customer Service Assistant at AG Insurance. Carol later became an Office Manager at VeriPark from August 2018 to January 2019. In 2020, they worked as a Customer Service Assistant at Arseus Medical for a month and as a Pharmacy Assistant at Apotheek De Lindeboom for a month as well. In 2021, Carol had an internship in Gene Therapy at Lund University from March to June and later did a Master Thesis Project from November 2021 to June 2022 at the same institution. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Pretzel Therapeutics as an Associate Scientist.

Carol Geukens has a strong educational background in the field of biomedicine. Carol obtained a Bachelor's degree in biomedicine from Lund University in 2019. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, General at KU Leuven from 2017 to 2020. Carol Geukens furthered their education by completing a Master's degree in biomedicine at Lund University from 2020 to 2022. In 2021, they attended Imperial College London for a summer school program called "Revolutions in Biomedicine," specifically focusing on the field of Pandemic Imperial.
