El Alyoune has a strong background in operations management in the food industry. They started their career at ConAgra Foods in 2001, where they worked their way up from a Supervisor to a Product Manager/Value Stream Leader. In this role, they were responsible for managing and overseeing safety, quality, and productivity for sixty plus employees in two lines of operations. They also led the startup of two additional lines and worked on upgrading existing lines to improve performance, quality, and reduce wastage. In 2015, El Alyoune joined CraftMark Bakery, LLC as Director of Operations, where they continue to contribute their expertise. As of 2019, El Alyoune joined Pretzels, Inc as the Director of Operations and later took on the role of Plant Manager.
El Alyoune completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Nouakchott between the years 1993 and 1997. In 2011, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Strayer University Ky, which was completed in 2012. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Six Sigma Black Belt from Purdue University, though the specific dates of completion are not provided.
