Mark A. Parks

Mark A. Parks, Jr. has had an extensive and varied work experience. Mark A. is currently serving as the President & CEO of Preveer and the Chief Executive Officer of MAP CPA Group International LLC. Prior to these roles, they were the Chief Financial Officer for the City of West Palm Beach from 2015 to 2021. Before that, they held several positions in Cuyahoga County, including Chief Fiscal Officer, County Treasurer, and Chief Fiscal Officer (acting)/Director Special Projects. Mark A. also served as the Council President & Finance Chair for Orange Village and as an Adjunct Faculty at Cuyahoga Community College. Additionally, they worked as a Contributing Financial Expert at WOIO/WUAB, where they provided analysis of financial issues to a non-professional audience. Mark A. Parks, Jr. began their career as the Owner of MarCon Accounting Professionals.

Mark A. Parks, Jr., CPA, MBA, CPPT, CGFO completed their MBA in eBusiness from the University of Phoenix between 2004 and 2006. Mark A. also holds a BA in Business Administration and Political Science from Baldwin Wallace University. Mark A. completed their high school education at Shaw High School. In addition to their degrees, they hold multiple certifications, including being a Certified Public Pension Trustee obtained in 2016 from FPPTA_Florida Public Pension Trustees Assoc., a Certified Public Accountant obtained in December 2021 from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and another Certified Public Accountant obtained in December 1995 from the Accountancy Board Of Ohio. Mark A. also possesses Series 6, 26, 63, and 65 Securities Licenses, obtained through FINRA.
