Cindymarie Dix

Cindymarie Dix has a diverse work experience in the field of recovery community development and peer services. Cindymarie most recently served as the Director of Recovery Community Development at Prevention Links since May 2021. Prior to that, they were the Recovery Employment Supervisor at the same organization from October 2020 to May 2021. Cindymarie also worked as an Assistant Site Director at Prevention Links from July 2019 to October 2020. Before joining Prevention Links, they held the position of Director of Workshop Programs at Ammon Labs from September 2018 to June 2019. Earlier in their career, Cindymarie worked at Eva's Village where they served as the Director of Peer Recovery Services from March 2018 to September 2018. Cindymarie also held the role of Senior Peer Services Coordinator from January 2015 to March 2018, Assistant Peer Services Coordinator from January 2013 to December 2014, and Administrative Team Lead from June 2010 to December 2012.

Cindymarie Dix completed their education as follows:

- From 2003 to 2007, they attended John Jay College (CUNY) and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Corrections Administration.

- Prior to that, from 1999 to 2003, they attended the Brooklyn school for Global Studies and earned their High School Diploma.

In addition to their formal education, Cindymarie Dix obtained a certification as a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist from the Addictions Professionals Certification Board (NJ) in March 2017.
