Philipp Schoenbucher

Philipp Schoenbucher has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Philipp began their career in 2000 as the CEO of Financialytic GmbH, a consulting firm specializing in quantitative aspects of finance. In 2002, they became a Professor at ETH Zurich and in 2003, they were a Consultant at Prytania LLP. In 2008, they joined Goldman Sachs as an Executive Director. Finally, in 2016, they became the Co-Founder and Chief Data Scientist at Previse, a company pioneering algorithm-driven invoice payment decisions in supply chain finance.

Philipp Schoenbucher's educational history began in 1979 when they graduated from Bischof Neumann Schule in Königstein, Germany with an Abitur. Philipp then attended the University of Freiburg from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a Vordiplom in Mathematics and Economics. In 1992, they earned an MSc in Mathematical Modelling and Numerical Analysis from the University of Oxford. From 1996 to 1997, they conducted research at the University of Oxford. Philipp then attended The University of Bonn from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a PhD in Economics.
