Bill Wernert

Bill Wernert has extensive experience in retail management, currently serving as the Store Manager at Wilsons Leather since April 2014 and previously in a similar role at Yankee Candle Company from March 2008 to April 2014. Additionally, Bill Wernert holds the position of Visual Training Manager for 15 stores in Michigan. Prior retail experience includes a long tenure at Wilsons Leather from 1990 to 2008. Bill Wernert also served as a Security Supervisor in the US Air Force from June 1982 to September 1991, achieving the rank of E-5. Educational credentials include a certificate in Military Security Policy and Strategy from the USAF Security Police Academy and studies at Alpena Community College.
