Bill Kubiak

Bill Kubiak has extensive work experience in the events and entertainment industry. Starting in 1986 with PSAV as a General Manager, they later joined The Meetinghouse Companies, Inc. in 1991 as Vice President, where they focused on building robust business operations and generating significant revenue growth. In 2007, they became the Director of National Accounts at Swank Audio Visuals, leading their efforts to expand into the national special events services industry. Kubiak joined Freeman Company in 2008, first as Vice President - General Manager and later as Regional Vice President - General Manager, where they successfully turned around underperforming markets and grew revenue significantly. Bill then worked at Encore in 2021 as the Director of Global Accounts. In 2020, during the Covid-19 Pandemic, Kubiak founded The B-Side Consulting, where they provided strategic direction and innovation to help businesses navigate through the disruption. Currently, they hold the role of Market Operations Vice President, Corporate Events at Production Resource Group, where they act as a liaison between sales and operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance.

Bill Kubiak, CSEP, CMP holds a BA in Communications from Columbia College Chicago and has studied Computer Science at DePaul University. Bill has obtained several additional certifications, including Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Events Industry Council in November 2021, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Lean Sigma Corporation in January 2021, Six Sigma Foundations from LinkedIn in November 2020, Covid-19 Compliance Officer from Health Education Services in August 2020, and Time Management Fundamentals from LinkedIn in December 2019. Further, Bill is in the process of obtaining the Certified Special Event Professional (CSEP) certification from the International Live Events Association (ILEA).
