Mark Barton

Mark Barton is an experienced lighting designer and asset coordinator with a diverse background in theater, retail, and project administration. Currently serving as an Asset Coordinator at Production Resource Group since April 2022, Mark previously worked as a Self-Employed Lighting Designer since 2003, creating and managing lighting designs for professional theater, dance, and opera both nationally and internationally. A former Operational & Sales Specialist at REI, Mark handled frontline sales and customer service in a large outdoor equipment store. Additional experience includes roles as a Freelance Architectural Lighting Designer, Guest Teacher at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, and vendor management positions at Goldman Sachs and Hoffman LaRoche. Mark holds an MFA in Lighting Design for Theater and a BFA in Drama/Theatre Arts and Stagecraft from New York University.
