Martin Clapson

Martin Clapson has had a long and successful career, primarily with Price Bailey LLP. Martin joined the company in 1987 and became an owner and partner in 2001. In 2013, they were elected to the Executive Board and became Chairman of the Board before eventually assuming the role of Managing Director in June 2013.

In addition to their work at Price Bailey, Martin has also held various leadership positions within IAPA International, an association of international professional firms. These positions include EMEA Chair, Global Vice-Chair, Global Chair, and Acting CEO. Martin is currently serving as the IAPA Global CEO since February 2020.

Martin has also contributed their expertise to other organizations. Martin has been a member of the East of England Council for the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) since 2016, and they serve as a Board Director for the Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce. Furthermore, Martin has been a Governor at Cambridge Regional College since 2016.

As part of their commitment to community service, Martin has been involved with CamSight, a registered charity dedicated to supporting blind and partially sighted individuals in Cambridgeshire. Martin has served as a Trustee for many years and as the honorary treasurer for over a decade.

Martin Clapson attended Nottingham Trent University from 1986 to 1987, where they studied Accounting and Business/Management. Martin then went on to study at ICAEW from 1987 to 1991, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
