Dave Schmitz

Dave Schmitz is a seasoned logistics professional with extensive experience in the distribution and transportation sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Distribution & Transportation at Price Chopper Supermarkets-Market 32 since August 2003, Dave has also held positions such as Director of Transportation and Director of Distribution Services, where responsibilities included managing a Private Fleet Trucking Operation and overseeing capital improvement planning for warehousing and transportation. Prior experience includes roles as Station Manager at Eagle Global Logistics, where Dave initiated a new branch operation, and Terminal Manager at Overnite Transportation, managing local operations for a national LTL trucking organization. Dave holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University at Albany and a BA in Transportation & Logistics from Iowa State University.
