Olivier Bachem

Olivier Bachem is an accomplished researcher and entrepreneur with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and finance. Currently serving as the Director and Research Scientist at Google DeepMind since April 2018, Olivier has held multiple research roles at the organization. As a co-founder of PriceHubble AG since January 2016, Olivier contributes to innovative solutions in real estate analytics. Prior academic involvement includes a PhD student and research assistant position at ETH Zurich from October 2014 to December 2017, complemented by various roles in notable companies such as McKinsey & Company and J.P. Morgan. Olivier holds a Master in Statistics from ETH Zurich and a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance from the University of Zurich and Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of St. Gallen.
