Ryan Leffel

Head Of Design at Priceline

Ryan Leffel has a diverse range of work experiences in the field of design and user experience. Ryan began their career in 2003 at R/GA, where they progressed from an Associate Designer to an Interaction Design Director. During their time there, they led teams in addressing UI and interaction design challenges for clients and focused on enhancing user experience through content design and functionality.

After R/GA, Ryan worked at Yahoo! as a Principal Interaction Designer, where they were responsible for leading UX strategy and design direction for ad serving platforms. Ryan also served as a Senior Design Manager and Staff Interaction Designer during their tenure at Yahoo!.

Ryan then moved on to roles at mcgarrybowen as a UX Lead freelancer, and at PM Digital as a Senior Information Architect freelancer. In both positions, they applied their expertise in UX thinking and user-centered design to deliver effective digital solutions for clients.

In 2014, Ryan joined Corra as a Senior Director, Customer Experience. Ryan held multiple roles within the company, leading user experience visual design and strategy for e-commerce sites and omni-channel experiences. Ryan was also part of the senior leadership team responsible for defining design processes and driving digital transformation efforts.

In 2019, Ryan joined Pearson K-12 Learning as the Director of User Experience and Design, Platforms+Gadgets. In this role, they focused on shaping the user experience and design for educational platforms and gadgets.

Most recently, Ryan joined Priceline in 2019 as the Head of Design.

Ryan Leffel has a Master of Professional Studies degree in Interactive Telecommunications from New York University. Ryan also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and an Associate of Arts degree in Public Relations from the University of Hartford. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ryan has obtained a certification in Communication Strategies: Presenting with Impact from the Harvard Division of Continuing Education in November 2021.
