Andrea Giro is an accomplished animation professional with extensive experience in character animation and leadership. Currently serving as CEO and Director at Primal Shape Animation Studio since January 2018, Andrea has previously held significant roles such as Character Animator for major projects including "Despicable Me 3" and "The Secret Life of Pets" at Illumination Mac Guff, and participated in notable works like "Sponge Bob Squarepants Out Of Water" at Iloura. With a strong background in animation, Andrea has also worked as a Senior Animator at nWave Digital and NOZON, contributed to various TV shows, and directed character animation in multiple productions. Academically, Andrea holds advanced degrees in Biochemistry and Biology from the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, along with specialized training in Character Animation from Animation Mentor.

Primal Shape is an independent production company and animation studio based in Turin established at the beginning of 2018 by artists with a decade of experience in the industry. Primal Shape had the opportunity to work with top-notch studios like Axis Studios, MPC, Digic Pictures, Puppetworks, Outfit7, Minimo VFX, RAI KIDS, Lunar Animation, FRAME BY FRAME, EDI and many others. In 2020 we started our path in producing contents. We produced "Venezia, la più antica città del futuro" 26' special for KIDS in collaboration with RAI KIDS and we co-produced the TV show "Food Wizards" (26x11 minutes), Zocotoco, RAI KIDS, Mad Entertainment and Primal Shape.
