Bill Freeman serves on the Board of multiple early stage tech and consumer product companies. He had been a Board Advisor to Primal Space Systems/Instant Interactive for nearly three years before accepting his current position as President/COO.
Bill started his career as an advertising executive with Leo Burnett in Chicago working on some of the world’s most prominent consumer products. He spread his wings by moving his young family to Hong Kong to serve as Regional Director for Burnett Asia.
After returning to the states Bill was recruited by TBWA as President Midwest, to help turn around their Midwest office and to join their US Board. Shortly thereafter, the global agency group was acquired by Omnicom and a year later, merged with Chiat/Day.
Having helped many global brand’s over the years, he elected to venture out to build businesses in the tech and marketing services space. His executive experience includes the following: President of Micell Technologies, CEO of Interadnet (one of the early ad-serving tech companies who were acquired by MediaPlex which rolled up into Convergent and recently purchased by Publicis), and President of Mozaic (an integrated strategy, design, pre-press, digital studios company in three cities working with Fortune 100 brands).
Bill has been a member of Young Presidents Organization for 25 years and has advised many early stage companies. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and continued with executive education tracks at MIT and Wharton.
