Pete Chiappa has over 30 years of work experience, starting with their role as a Senior Manager at KPMG, where they focused on manufacturing and distribution clients and gained experience in mergers and acquisitions. Pete then served as the Senior VP Finance & CFO for Tree of Life, Inc. while also fulfilling the same role for American Beverage Corporation. Pete later became the VP Finance & CFO of American Beverage Corporation, where they were responsible for finance, accounting, IT, and risk management. Pete also worked closely with executive management in growing and managing the company. After that, they joined SEEGRID as the Director of Business Operations, where they developed and managed sales channel partner relationships. Following this, they served as the Chief Operating & Financial Officer of Mallet and Company, Inc., overseeing the transformation of the company from a family-owned business to a professionally managed one, resulting in increased EBITDA and enterprise value. Pete then worked as a consultant and the Food Business Unit CEO at Vantage Specialty Chemicals, a portfolio company of H.I.G Capital. Most recently, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Patton Wings, Inc., the largest owner-operator of Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in the country. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar, a PE-backed restaurant chain known throughout the United States.
Pete Chiappa attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Pete also holds additional certifications, including being a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant from AICPA.
