Carlos Villar Sevillano

Carlos Villar Sevillano is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in the retail sector. As the Cofounder and CEO of Primaprix since June 2014, Carlos has been instrumental in developing a network of outlet stores for consumer packaged goods. Prior to this role, Carlos served as the CEO of DIA Brasil from November 1999 to May 2011, overseeing a substantial supermarket chain with a turnover of 1.1 billion euros. Carlos's earlier career includes serving as the Regional Director for Madrid at DIA España from May 1995 to October 1999. Carlos holds multiple degrees, including an ADECA from San Telmo Business School, a Master's in Internet Business from ISDI, a CRF MBA from INSEAD, an International MBA from IE Business School, and a degree in Law from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia. Additionally, Carlos earned a degree in Merchant Marine Captaincy from ESMC Gijón.
