Ms. Buist earned both her Bachelor of Arts – Cooperative Accounting, and Master of Accounting degrees from the University of Waterloo and she is both a Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Buist briefly worked with Primaris from 2010-2013 as the Assistant Vice-President, Finance, and Vice-President, Finance. She furthered her career by holding senior finance and accounting positions at Choice Properties Real Estate Investment Trust as well as First Capital Real Estate Investment Trust, before settling back at Primaris REIT in Jan 2022 as the Senior Vice-President, Finance.
