David Lidwell

David Lidwell is an experienced Treasury professional currently serving as Treasury Manager at Primark since May 2024. Prior to this role, David held various positions at Avolon from November 2016 to July 2024, including VP & Team Lead of Treasury Management, overseeing all Treasury professionals and reporting to the Financial Controller. Earlier experience at IBM from July 2013 to November 2016 included roles such as Settlement Officer within IBM International Treasury Services and Treasury Analyst. David has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from Dublin City University, completing studies between 2010 and 2013, and also contributes as a back-up treasurer for a sports and social club with approximately 2,000 members.
