Melissa Carder, MSA

Melissa Carder has a strong background in accounting and finance with over 10 years of experience. Melissa is currently working as the Chief Accounting Officer at Primary Bank since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Controller at Salem Co-operative Bank from March 2021 to June 2023. Melissa also served as an Assistant Controller at St. Mary's Bank from June 2016 to March 2021. Before venturing into banking, they gained experience as a Senior Auditor at Baker Newman Noyes from January 2011 to June 2016, where they specialized in healthcare entities and employee benefit plans. Melissa also worked as a Senior Accountant at Madison Resource Funding in 2010 and as a Senior Financial Analyst at Sig Sauer in 2009. Melissa began their career at Baker Newman Noyes as a Senior Auditor in 2005, where they developed expertise in various industries, including healthcare and manufacturing. Throughout their career, Melissa has demonstrated their ability to handle financial statements, supervise staff, and recommend process improvements.

Melissa Carder, MSA, attended Southern New Hampshire University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting. In 2014, Melissa returned to Southern New Hampshire University to pursue a Master's Degree in Accounting (MS, Accounting), which they are currently pursuing.
