Bradley Wood

Bradley Wood has extensive work experience in various technology and management roles. Bradley is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Primary Portal since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Pico from 2019 to 2021, where they held the position of Director, Global Head of Platform Engineering and Automation. In this role, Bradley focused on building and maintaining global Kubernetes clusters, deploying and operating Kafka-based messaging infrastructure, and implementing AWS-based hybrid cloud solutions.

Before joining Pico, Bradley was a Partner, Co-founder, and Global COO at GreySpark Partners from 2009 to 2018. Bradley was responsible for managing the global operations of the company. From 2007 to 2009, Bradley worked at NET2S as a Principal Consultant / Director and later as a Managing Consultant. Bradley was involved in various projects, including the design and integration of trading adaptors and quantitative analysis GUIs.

Bradley also has experience working at BP as an EAI Project Manager and IT Operations Consultant from 2005 to 2007. Bradley was responsible for IT integration services and ensuring architectural standards were met. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Technical Operations at Pearson plc from 2002 to 2005.

Earlier in their career, Bradley held the role of Director - IT Solutions Architecture at Dimension Data, where they provided technical consulting services. Bradley also worked at Proxicom Inc as a Senior Consultant - Technical Architect, where they built and managed the technical architecture practice in the UK office.

Bradley's career began at Clarity IBD Ltd, where they served as a Lead Developer and Technical Architect. Bradley was responsible for developing e-business projects and building the technical organization to meet client demands. Additionally, Bradley has experience as the Managing Director and Founder of Netheads cc, an internet service provider in South Africa.

Overall, Bradley Wood has a diverse background in technology leadership, project management, and technical consulting across various industries.

Bradley Wood attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. During their time at the university, they focused on studying Computer Science and Applied Mathematics.
