Rachel Barker

Rachel Barker serves as the Assistant Director of Academic and Development Planning at Harvard University, where writing focuses on science and engineering for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Concurrently, Rachel holds the position of Executive Director at The Birch Festival, a nonprofit organization aimed at fostering connections between musicians and the Berkshire community. As the Creative Director and Owner of Rachel Barker Creative, leadership encompasses various creative projects, and as a consultant for Primary Source, Rachel develops curriculum and facilitates professional development for educators. With a strong background in education, previous roles include teaching social studies and English language arts at Wayland Public Schools and Escola Americana de Brasilia. Rachel's educational pursuits include an ongoing Master's degree in Religion/Religious Studies from Harvard University, a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College, and a Bachelor's in Cultural Anthropology from Boston University.
