Joe Thornley Heard

Joe Thornley Heard is an accomplished professional in the visual effects industry, currently serving as Director and Co-Owner of Primary Visual Effects since July 2019, and as Director of JTH Visual Effects since January 2016. With extensive freelance experience as Effects Artist at various notable companies including Outpost VFX, Framestore, Electric Theatre Collective, Ocula Ltd, and Passion Pictures, Joe has contributed to numerous projects from 2018 to 2019. Educationally, Joe holds a BA in Computer Visualisation and Animation from Bournemouth University (1997-2000) and a Foundation Art and Design degree from the University of the West of England (1996-1997). Early education was completed at Backwell School (1989-1996).
