Maaike Vercueil CA (SA), CPA has extensive work experience in the field of auditing and accounting. Maaike started their career at Mazars as an Audit Senior in 2010, where they worked until 2012. Following this, they joined Price Chain as a Financial Accountant from 2013 to 2016.

In 2016, Maaike joined FMG Chartered Accountants as an Audit Manager, a position they held until 2018 when they joined PwC South Africa in the same role. Maaike worked at PwC South Africa until the end of 2019.

In 2020, Maaike moved to EY as an Audit Manager, but their tenure lasted only until November of the same year. Subsequently, they joined KPMG Canada as an Audit Manager in February 2021 and left the company in October 2022.

Currently, Maaike holds the position of Controller at Primco Dene Group of Companies, where they began their role in October 2022.

Maaike Vercueil CA (SA), CPA completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a specialization in Accounting from Rhodes University in 2009. Maaike then pursued their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Honours degree in CTA - Accounting from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2010.

In terms of additional certifications, Maaike obtained their CPA (Alberta) certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in August 2021. Maaike also obtained the qualification of South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA CA(SA)) in January 2013.
