Currently serving as Senior Assistant Vice President and Deputy Head of Sustainable Finance at Prime Bank Ltd. since December 2021, Fareba previously held key positions at City Bank, including Unit Head of Policy and Compliance and Senior Manager of the Sustainable Finance Unit within the Credit Risk Management Division. Fareba began the career as a Senior Financial Analyst at the Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Ltd. Boasting strong academic credentials, Fareba holds a Master of Science in Climate Change and Development from Independent University, Bangladesh, an MBA from the University of Dhaka, and a BBA from Stamford University Bangladesh. Educational background also includes a Higher Secondary Certificate from Viqarunnisa Noon College and a Secondary School Certificate from Viqarunnisa Noon School.
