Barbara Giel

Barbara Giel, CFA, currently serves as an Investment Manager for Infrastructure at Prime Capital AG since April 2022. Prior to this role, Giel was a Portfolio Manager focusing on Power & Environment at KfW IPEX-Bank from January 2016 to March 2022. Giel’s extensive career in finance includes serving as a Director in Leveraged Finance at Bank of Ireland from May 2006 to December 2014, a Senior Associate in Mergers & Acquisitions at BNP Paribas CIB from January 2001 to October 2005, and an Analyst in Mergers & Acquisitions at Arthur Andersen Corporate Finance for a brief period in 2000. Giel holds a Diplom-Kauffrau degree in Business Administration from Freie Universität Berlin, obtained between 1995 and 2000.
