Greg Laverty

Greg Laverty, PMP, has extensive experience in project management and automation, with a career spanning over two decades. At Prime Controls since July 2015, Laverty has held roles including Project Manager, Senior Automation Specialist, and Automation Specialist. Previously, Laverty worked at Chicago Electric from January 2007 to July 2015, designing and implementing custom projects from large-scale power plant systems to smaller installations like coffee bean roasters. Additionally, Laverty served as a Controls Engineer at Miner Enterprises from January 2001 to January 2007, where responsibilities included maintaining automated assembly lines and upgrading equipment. Laverty earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northern Illinois University, following studies at Kettering University.
