Janet Storey, PharmD, BCOP has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical field. Janet started their career as a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident at UF Health in July 2012 and transitioned to become a PGY2 Oncology Resident in July 2013. After completing their residency, they worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at UF Health in the Inpatient Adult Hematology/Oncology department from July 2014 to December 2015.
In January 2016, Janet joined Atrium Health as the Outpatient Medical Oncology Clinical Pharmacist Coordinator. Janet held this role for three years, until September 2019. During their time at Atrium Health, Janet gained expertise in outpatient medical oncology and coordinated pharmacy-related activities.
In September 2019, Janet joined Novant Health as an Outpatient Medical Oncology Clinical Pharmacist Specialist. Janet worked in this position for three years, until October 2022. At Novant Health, Janet specialized in providing clinical pharmacy services to medical oncology patients in outpatient settings.
From June 2022 to June 2023, Janet worked as a Clinical Editor in Drug Information at Elsevier. In this role, they contributed to the development and editing of drug-related content.
Currently, Janet is working at PRIME Education as the Associate Director of Scientific Affairs, a position they assumed in June 2023. In this role, they are responsible for managing scientific activities and ensuring the quality of educational programs.
Janet Storey, PharmD, BCOP, obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, General from the University of Central Florida, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing their studies from 2008 to 2012.
In terms of additional certifications, Janet Storey received the Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in January 2016. Moreover, they obtained the ASHP/ISMP Medication Safety Certificate from the American Society Of Health-System Pharmacists Inc in June 2020.
