Sam Dooyema, PhD, currently serves as the Manager of Education & Research Strategy at PRIME Education, where responsibilities include identifying and developing opportunities in solid tumor oncology. Previously, as Manager of Scientific Affairs, Sam developed content and grant proposals for hematology and oncology continuing medical education programs. A background in business development was gained through an internship at Nashville Biosciences, where competitive intelligence and client research were conducted. At Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Sam contributed significant research on pathogen interactions with immune responses, resulting in multiple publications. Prior experience includes internships at AbbVie and a role as a Research Associate at Sanford Research, focusing on molecular biology and genetics. Sam holds a PhD in Microbe-Host Interactions from Vanderbilt University and a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Sioux Falls.
