Dr. Antony Thomas

Dr. Antony Thomas currently holds the position of Director of Diagnostic Services and Specialist Pathologist at Prime Healthcare Group LLC, overseeing group laboratories and imaging services since February 2003. Dr. Thomas has been instrumental in achieving CAP and ISO 15189 accreditation for Premier Diagnostic Center in Dubai, UAE, and serves as the Chair of Laboratory Medicine at Prime Hospital. Contributions include representing diagnostic services for JCI and ACHSI accreditations, participating in multiple committees, and leading task forces focused on Covid crisis management and revenue recovery. Prior to this role, Dr. Thomas served as an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Kochy Cooperative Medical College and Yenepoya Medical College, with responsibilities in various pathology departments and medical training. Educational qualifications include an MSc in International Healthcare Leadership from The University of Manchester and an MD in Pathology from JJM Medical College.
